Summer is shaping up to be a fantastic season for music lovers in Arizona. Whether you want to stand shoulder to shoulder with thousands of concert-goers, camp out and enjoy live performances over a three-day weekend, or catch a show featuring just a few artists, there are a few events scheduled from May through July that will meet your needs. Check out these can’t-miss music festivals coming up this summer near Phoenix, Arizona.

FORM Arcosanti

Though this concert is from May 11 to 13 — technically late spring — it’s a big enough deal to start planning an early pre-summer trip. FORM Arcosanti takes place in the town of Arcosanti, which is north of Phoenix before Camp Verde. Headlining acts this year include Beach House, Blood Orange, Chance the Rapper, CharliXCX, Courtney Barnett, Daniel Caesar, Fleet Foxes, and Skrillex. Dozens of other bands will round out the lineup, providing plenty of entertainment to cover three days of solid music.

Tickets for the full event start at $350, and you can camp out for $390. You can also reserve a stay in one of the event’s Safari Tents for $800. RV campsite spots and all-inclusive luxury indoor and outdoor options are available as well.

Flagstaff Blues and Brews

As the name suggests, Flagstaff Blues and Brews is a festival that’s equal parts music and beer. Held Saturday, June 9, this year’s lineup will include seven performers: Robert Randolph and the Family, Ana Popovic, Curtis Salgado, Nick Moss Band featuring Dennis Gruenling, Jeremy Bar-Illan, Austin Young Band, and Big Daddy D and the Dynamites. The concert will take place at the Continental Driving Range. Doors open at 11 a.m., and you can find general admission tickets for $35 and VIP tickets for $90 online.

Vans Warped Tour

Vans Warped Tour is a long-running concert series with an emphasis on rock and punk music, though you’ll also be treated to performances in genres such as metalcore, electronic, hip-hop, and ska. The concert is scheduled for June 28, and the doors open at 11 a.m. Dozens of bands will appear throughout the day across multiple stages. Acts include 3Oh!3, Mayday Parade, The Used, We the Kings, Simple Plan, and more, but you’ll want to check times and stages to ensure you catch your favorite performers.

General admission tickets are available for $36. You can upgrade to a 3D collector’s ticket for $46. The concert will take place at the Ak-Chin Pavilion.

Folk Sessions at the Highlands Center – Under the Stars!
For a more intimate concert experience, check out Folk Sessions at the Highlands Center – Under the Stars! on Friday, July 27 at 7 p.m. Three performers will keep you entertained: Americana duo JC & Laney, folk artist Jim Pipkin, and singer-songwriter Karen Dezelle.
